OWL Awards Finalists

Bill Wiley serves as Medical Director of the Cleveland Eye Clinic and Clear Choice LASIK Center in Cleveland OH, and is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at University Hospitals/Case Western Reserve University. A leader in cataract and refractive surgery, he has played a key role in advancing new technologies through clinical research and his contributions to multiple patents. Dr. Wiley is deeply committed to leadership and mentorship in ophthalmology, serving as Chairman of the Board of  the American-European Congress of Ophthalmic Surgery (AECOS) and president of the Outpatient Ophthalmic Surgery Society (OOSS), past president of the Society for Excellence in Eye Care, Chair of the Caribbean Eye Meeting, and a founding member of the Vanguard Ophthalmology Society and CEDARS/ASPENS. He is also the co-founder of Eyeprentice, an ophthalmic mentorship program dedicated to supporting the next generation of surgeons. He received his medical degree from Medical College of Ohio and completed his ophthalmology residency at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Hospital in Chicago.
